HONO (Sea Turtle)
As an artist living in the Hawaiian Islands for many years, I had to paint the beautiful creatures that I saw often times while at the beach or while snorkeling. These honu (sea turtles) are such a pleasant surprise when they pop their head out of the water and look around! Usually if you see one, you’ll no doubt see more. I so enjoyed painting this honu; using fun techniques for getting the blues of the sea. This original has been sold but I do sell prints and I do take commissions to recreate this sea turtle.
