Angel Oak Tree
One of the first places we visited after moving here to South Carolina was the majestic Angel Oak Tree. It is said that it is somewhere between 300-500 years old and the oldest tree east of the Mississippi River. There was an artist there painting her and I knew I would paint it one day.
It almost has a 3-D look to it as the large branches are reaching out towards the viewer.
This painting measures 14 × 21, matted it is 22×28.
